1. Membership & eligibility
GGTA is a business-to-business platform for the golf travel trade. Membership is open to companies and individual professionals aged 18 or over working in the industry. Applications are reviewed by the association, which may approve, decline or revoke membership at its discretion. You agree that the information you provide during application and afterwards is accurate and kept up to date.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Company accounts must be operated by someone authorised to represent that company. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Tiers, fees & renewals
Member accounts are free. Professional and Elite memberships are billed annually in US dollars, processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Paid memberships renew after 12 months unless cancelled beforehand. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice, applying from your next renewal.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the platform professionally and lawfully. You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing; misrepresent your business, rates or availability; harvest or scrape member data; send spam; or use member contact details for anything other than legitimate trade communication. We may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these rules.
4a. Objectionable content & abusive behaviour
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members on GGTA. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual or violent material, impersonation, fraud and unsolicited bulk selling are prohibited. Any member can report a post, comment, conversation or profile from the flag or ⋯ menu on it, and can block another member at any time from that member's profile — a blocked member cannot message you or request a connection. GGTA reviews every report within 24 hours and may remove content, warn a member or terminate a membership. Reports are confidential: the member reported is not told who reported them. 5. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you post — profiles, articles, packages, photos, rate sheets and messages. You grant GGTA a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute that content on the platform, and to feature public profile content in association marketing with attribution. 6. Marketplace, trips & introductions
GGTA is a venue. Contracts formed through RFPs, bids, packages, rate sheets or introductions are between the members involved; GGTA is not a party to them and does not guarantee performance, payment or outcomes. Carry out your own due diligence. Fam trip hosts are solely responsible for their trips, including local compliance, insurance and participant safety.
7. GGTA Verified
The GGTA Verified badge indicates that a member has submitted business documentation which the association has reviewed. It is a documentation check, not a guarantee, endorsement or warranty of any member's services or solvency.
8. Communications
We send service emails that are part of operating your membership (security, billing, activity notifications — configurable in Settings). Marketing and newsletter emails are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings or via the unsubscribe link.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of this agreement, false information, non-payment or conduct harmful to the network. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On termination your directory profile and content are removed from member view; some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers & liability
The platform is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or any commercial outcome from membership. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GGTA's total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
11. Governing law & changes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-platform at least 14 days before they take effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
