1. You own your content
Members retain all rights to the content they create and upload — articles, photography, packages, rate sheets, itineraries and messages. Posting on GGTA never transfers ownership to GGTA.
2. The licence you grant
So that we can operate the platform, you grant GGTA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content within GGTA, and to feature publicly-visible profile content in association communications with attribution. The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for content other members have legitimately saved (for example, a rate sheet shared with a connection) and copies retained for legal purposes.
3. Your responsibilities
Only upload content you own or are licensed to use. This especially applies to photography — ensure you hold rights to course, resort and destination images you post — and to rate sheets and marketing material belonging to your company.
4. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on GGTA infringes your copyright, email hello@globalgolftravelassociation.com with: (a) identification of the work, (b) where the infringing content appears on the platform, (c) your contact details, and (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised and that your notice is accurate. We review promptly, remove content where appropriate and notify the member who posted it.
5. Counter-notice & repeat infringers
A member whose content is removed may respond with evidence of their rights, and we will review again. Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights will be terminated.
6. GGTA marks
The GGTA name, crest and logos are the property of the association and may not be used without written permission, except that members in good standing may reference their GGTA membership factually.
